  • Reviews for Todoist for Firefox Todoist for Firefox by Todoist. Rated 4.7 out of 5. 4.7 Stars out of 5. Rated 3 out of 5. By Varun Gawande, 3 months ago. Works very well in Normal use, just doesn't work with Private Window, even after allowing in Firefox settings.

I've been using the Todoist add-on for Firefox for several months now with no problems.

I haven't installed anything new or changed anything recently, yet beginning yesterday afternoon, whenever I click on the button to bring up the Todoist add-on, Firefox will crash.

I've been in contact with the developers and we've tried working through several things, but nothing has worked. They're telling me now that their add-on should not have the capacity to crash the entire browser, and that the problem must be on the Firefox side of things.

I've checked the Firefox is up-to-date (v. 45.0.1), refreshed it, uninstalled and re-installed it, and restarted my computer. I've also uninstalled and re-installed the Todoist add-on itself, as well as all of my other add-ons (Skype, LastPass, Hootsuite, and Evernote). Still, the problem is there, and nothing else at all is malfunctioning.

Try a template

Add your first task

All projects begin with a single step, but don’t stop there! Add every task that comes to mind.

The most achievable tasks tend to be:

  • Super specific and clear

  • Less than an hour long

Stay on schedule

Life’s smoother if you know what needs to happen when. Todoist can auto-detect due dates, nearly any way you write them!

Todoist understands things like:

  • Today
  • This weekend
