A $34 registration fee is added to every order-no matter how many tests you purchase. Tests are $47 each, except L1, L2, and L3 which are $94 each. Military Tactical Wheeled Vehicles (TWV) are $74 each. Volvo Certified Level Tests are $94 each. ASE is required to collect sales tax on applicable purchases in AZ, CO, HI, MD, ME, NJ, NM, NY, OH, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WV.

Recertification Test Fees

There’s a $34 registration fee added to every order. Tests are $47 each, except L1R, L2R, and L3R which are $94 each. Volvo Certified Level Tests are $94 each. You may purchase as many recertification tests as you want in an order, but we cap the cost of your tests at $141. So, the most anyone would pay to recertify in a single order is $175-no matter how many recertification tests are purchased. ASE is required to collect sales tax on applicable purchases in AZ, CO, HI, MD, ME, NJ, NM, NY, OH, RI, SC, SD, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WV.

ASE Test Refunds

ASE now offers a refund for any untaken, unexpired tests that are cancelled within 90 days of the original purchase. Log in to your myASE account to cancel any unscheduled test for a refund.
